At Saints Swimming, it’s important that swimmers are placed in the squad that best suits their current ability, goals, and level of commitment.

 

We understand convenience plays a role for families, but to ensure every swimmer thrives in the right environment, squad placement is based on:

  • Current skill and fitness level
  • Ability to meet training expectations
  • Willingness to compete in swimming at regional carnivals & Championships
  • Long-term development and goals

 

This helps maintain a positive and productive training environment where every swimmer is challenged appropriately and supported in their journey.

Club Squad

Train to Race for Saints Swim Club – regional carnivals.
Build better technique, skills, strength, speed and stamina.
Minimum – 4 sessions/week.
Participation in:

  • FNQ Short & Long Course Championships
  • Saints Swimming Carnival 
  • 3 additional long-course meets 
  • 1 short course meet 
  • 2 Club nights

Training fees: $40/week



State Squad

Train to Win for Saints Swim Club – practice your craft at regional carnivals to hit the mark at State and National meets.
Minimum – 6 sessions/week & 2 State LC QTs

Participation in:

  • FNQ Short & Long Course Championships
  • Saints Swimming Carnival 
  • QLD Championships
  • 3 additional long-course meets 
  • 2 short course meet 
  • 2 Club nights

Training fees: $45/week
