Shark Squad

Shark squad we look to improve technique and stamina through kick, drill, swim sets. We learn basic squad training skills; use 60sec clock, swim clockwise, 10seconds apart becoming independent leaving for cycles.

Our dive progression fires up, we ramp up freestyle turns, touch turns and learn to count strokes flags to wall in backstroke and probably the most important streamline fly kick underwater. 

Here attending club nights and intro carnivals begins to give purpose, improves development, builds confidence and begin to feel part of Saints.

Our Shark 1 swim 18m off the minute cycle. We monitor technique with note of body position where swimmers complete distances kick and stroke in approximately 40 seconds with 20 seconds rest we will increase challenges aspect without technique deterioration.

Monday & Wednesday 3.30-4.15pm
Tuesday 4.15pm-5.00pm

Tiger Shark Squad

Tiger Shark squad swimmers are set challenges – stamina, speed, skills which in turns builds confidence.

Our dive progression fires up, we ramp up freestyle turns, touch turns and learn to count strokes flags to wall in backstroke and probably the most important streamline fly kick underwater.

Monday & Wednesday 3.30-4.30pm
Tuesday & Thursday 6.00-7.15am (Gym avail 5.30am)
Saturday (only available when no carnivals on) 7.00-8.15am
